Giuseppe has 20 years of experience in the areas of corporate acquisitions, venture capital, corporate governance and international commercial contracts.
Over the years, Giuseppe has assisted dozens of foreign buyers in managing M&A transactions – Including coordinating or collaborating with multi-jurisdictional teams – and structuring complex strategic joint ventures, mainly in the manufacturing, technology, automotive, fashion and energy sectors.
Giuseppe assists numerous foreign multinationals in the management of their Italian subsidiaries, serving as a single point of contact for all legal needs.
He has also developed specific experience in assisting entrepreneurs and closely held and family-controlled companies, for whom he acts as trusted advisor for ordinary activities, extraordinary transactions and in their expansion abroad.
Giuseppe also assists founders and venture capital funds in all stages of the life of start-ups, from structuring shareholder agreements to exit.
Giuseppe is cited as an M&A expert by leading Italian and international directories. According to Legal 500, he is “experienced in cross-border transactions, precise, a good negotiator, a dealmaker”.
After graduating cum laude in 2001 from LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome, Giuseppe earned a Ph.D. from the University of Palermo. He was admitted to the Bar in 2004. For more than 15 years he has collaborated with the chair of private law at LUISS Guido Carli, where he has a teaching contract.
Giuseppe is an active member of the International Bar Association and serves as Secretary of the Closely Held Companies Committee, under which he organizes numerous panels on M&A and corporate governance with respect to closely held and family-controlled companies.
