Duccio joined the Milan office of Ughi e Nunziante in 2016, after many years as head of the legal and litigation department of a primary Italian bank and after gaining significant experience working for law firms in Florence and Milan.
Aside from the experience gained in banking law and real estate, his main focus today is the use of trusts, both in the more traditional wealth management sector, and in the field of corporate and commercial law in general, where he has had a chance to develop unprecedented applications.
He is a frequent lecturer at university masters’ programs in Siena, Florence and Milan (Bocconi University) and has spoken at numerous conferences.
He currently teaches trusts law at the University of Siena as visiting professor and he is the author of over twenty publications, among which monographies, papers and contributions all regarding trusts and their peculiar features.
Duccio is a member of the association Trusts in Italy and an accredited attorney of the same; he is a full member of STEP and member of the scientific committee of the association Trust libertate fide foedus of Lugano (CH).
He acts as a mediator for the Banking and Financial Ombudsman (Arbitro bancario finanziario) and for Consob.
Duccio was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court in 1988.
He is fluent in Italian, English and French.
